Where passion meets precision on the court.

Tennis isn’t just a sport for Rosa, our founder; it was a legacy ingrained in her family’s history who pioneered the sport in the Balearic Islands. Growing up amidst the vibrant tennis culture of the club, she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of the sport.

At age 10 she joined the Balearic Federation tennis team under the guidance of coaches like Alberto Tous and Jofre Porta. This journey brought her victories in Balearic championships and notable performances in the Spanish Championship. At age 13 she moved to Barcelona, embarking on her professional journey at 16 with participation in ITF tournaments. These experiences instilled in her not only a deep understanding of the game but also a profound appreciation for the dedication and hard work required to excel at the highest levels of competition.

Over the next years Rosa would go on to achieve several career titles including playing at the AO, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open, reaching a career high ranking of #152 in singles (WTA) and #81 in doubles (WTA). She became Senior World Champion in 2019 and ranked #1 (ITF) in the world.

In 2018, the seeds of a dream planted long ago blossomed into reality with the establishment of the RA Tennis Academy, a foundation built with passion, dedication, drive, and vision. It stands not only as a testament to her personal journey but also as a beacon of hope and opportunity for the next generation of tennis stars. As we continue to write new chapters in our story, our commitment to excellence remains unwavering, fueled by the same passion and determination that have been the driving forces behind our success from the very beginning

"Every player is unique, however, my job is not to make it easy for each of them - my job is to make them better."

— Rosa María Andrés, Head of Academy
